Electric Heaters FAQ
For ones we recomend no.
We only recommend portable electric fires and heaters, ones which are plugged into a normal domestic 3-pin socket using a 13amp fused 3-pin plug.
This includes the hearth-type and wall-hung electric fires and heaters we recommend which, although designed to be fitted in one place, require no specialist installation and can be easily moved if required.
There are many other types of electric fires and heaters which do require specialist installation and may need a different type of electrical connection, so always check with the supplier before you buy, and if in doubt get advice from a qualified electrician before having it fitted.
