For those wanting a traditionally styled flame effect fan heater. We have selected this  entry-level model from Dimplex’s innovative Optiflame  heating range of stylish stove styled fan heaters with highly realistic flame effects (see video on fan Heater Review Page ).

The Dimplex Optiflame range gives you all the visual  comforts of a wood burning stove, without the maintenance & mess, the heat is provide from a concealed fan heater with  2 heat settings, 1 Kw & 2Kw.

There is  safety thermal cut out and a remote control switch, but no adjustable thermostat (available on more expensive models).

The Optiflame effect has a log flame bed and resembles  dying embers, this  can work independently of the heater. The controls are easily accessible and located behind a flap on the front of the heater.

Fully portable so it can easily be moved from room to room, it is reasonably quiet  (there is a slight humming noise when the Optiflame effect is used on its own).
